Today’s big Warmachine preview stream heralded the massive launch of Covenant of the Flame, an entire new Prime army for the Protectorate of Menoth faction.
The Protectorate have set the hearts of Warmachine players alight for many years and seeing their return to the current era is a huge moment for fans of the Iron Kingdoms. They’re our most requested army, bar none. Now they’re coming back in a big way, and here’s what that means for our trade partners.
The name of Menoth is a shining beacon to call players back to the Iron Kingdoms and a prime opportunity to launch the Warmachine community in your store.
To help with that, we’ve introduced a brand new way for trade partners to pre-order the army — the Command Set, three army boxes, and both heavy and light warjacks — which includes exclusive pre-order gifts.
It’s a pay-as-you-go bundle with staged delivery based on release dates, so you’ll still only be invoiced as each set nears its release. But by committing to the bundle in advance, you’ll get access to the following:
-
Ordering up to five army bundles gets you a free Protectorate of Menoth Organised Play kit to run a themed launch event in your store.
-
Order six or more army bundles, and you’ll also get a free set of exclusive Four Gifts cards for every bundle and two Organised Play kits.
-
Order 11+ army bundles and you’ll receive three free Protectorate Organised Play kits, plus a free set of exclusive Four Gifts Cards for every bundle.
The Four Gifts represent a core mechanic for Covenant of the Flame, whereby Menoth bestows four gifts on his devoted followers to aid them in battle: Wall, Sheaf, Fire, and Law.
Digitally represented in the app for functional gameplay, the printed cards are an exclusive collectable set for Menoth fans that are also usable in games to physically represent the gifts in play.
The Four Gifts cards come in several exclusive editions. The Faithful Edition is only available to retail and distribution. If you’re a Warstore (official Warmachine stockist), you’ll get the exclusive Fervour Edition.
Army boxes are also available to pre-order individually as normal.
How to pre-order the army bundle
