Trade Newsmachine – Menoth Army Bundles Explained
Earlier this month, we launched trade pre-order bundles (including exclusive pre-order gifts) for the new Protectorate of Menoth army, Covenant of the Flame. Since then, we’ve had some great questions from trade partners on how the army bundles work, so we’ve gathered the answers here as a guide.
Quick answers
Order army bundles by October 13 → Get exclusive & free extras → Sell the sets however you like
-
You don't have to sell the army as a bundle. You can absolutely split up and sell the individual sets if that's what works best for your store.
-
Bundles are the only way to get the free pre-order gifts, including the exclusive Four Gifts cards.
-
You won't receive or be invoiced for everything at once. Sets are invoiced and shipped in stages as they get closer to their individual release dates.
-
The bundle order deadline for for trade partners is October 13, 2026. Individual sets will still be available to order normally after this date.

What’s the order cut-off date?
The cut-off date for trade ordering the army bundles is October 13, 2026. You’ll still be able to order individual sets after that date, as normal.
The sets in the bundle have different release dates. Do they ship together?
This is a pay-as-you-go army bundle with staged delivery based on release dates. That means:
-
Even if you order a bundle, you’ll still only be invoiced for each set as it gets closer to release, and
-
Sets will ship in waves as they release
The Four Gifts cards and Organised Play kits will ship with the first wave.
I ordered the Covenant of the Flame army as a bundle. Do I have to sell it as a bundle?
No, you don’t have to sell the army as a bundle. You’re entirely free to split the bundle and sell the sets separately.
In that case, why order the army as a bundle?
Ordering army bundles is a way for you to access exclusive pre-order gifts:
-
Ordering up to five army bundles gets you a free Protectorate of Menoth Organised Play kit to run a themed launch event in your store, including three unique Covenant of the Flame art prints, a Covenant of the Flame sticker sheet, two packs of universal Warmachine command cards featuring Covenant of the Flame art, and an event sign-up sheet.
-
Order six or more army bundles, and you’ll also get a free set of exclusive Four Gifts cards for every bundle and two Organised Play kits.
-
Order 11+ army bundles and you’ll receive three free Protectorate Organised Play kits, plus a free set of exclusive Four Gifts cards for every bundle.
What can I do with the exclusive Four Gifts cards?
Whatever you like!
Include them with Protectorate of Menoth purchases as a random lucky draw, hand them out at Protectorate of Menoth launch parties, use them as Warmachine event prizes or charity auction items…it’s entirely up to you, as long as they’re not sold separately.
Why are some of the Four Gifts cards different colours?
The Four Gifts cards come in several exclusive editions.
In fact, Warmachine stockists have their own exclusive edition: the Fervour Edition in the Menoth purple colourway, featuring the fiery gems seen on many of the models.
Retail and distribution have their own exclusive edition, too: the pious Faithful Edition.
Are the Four Gifts cards available to buy anywhere?
No, the Four Gifts cards aren’t available to buy anywhere. The only way to get official, physical copies is by pre-ordering army bundles.
Are the Four Gifts cards needed for gameplay?
The Four Gifts represent a unique, new mechanic for Covenant of the Flame. Menoth bestows four gifts to help his followers in battle: Wall, Sheaf, Fire, and Law.
Like all Warmachine rules, the cards are available digitally in the free app, so printed cards aren’t required to play the army.
However, the cards can absolutely be used to physically represent the gifts in play, and make a great, exclusive collectable item for Menoth fans.
