This week’s Tuesday Releases brings the Mind Thief slinking into pre-order, alongside the latest eerie addition to MiniCrate: the Ghost Shaper. One feeds on thought itself. The other bends reality into impossible forms.
The Mind Thief arrives
Not every mercenary fights for coin.
The Mind Thief wanders the Iron Kingdoms, offering its services in exchange for living captives, trading Cephalyx cunning for battlefield devastation wherever the price is paid. Originally little more than a low-ranking operative, it has since carved out a reputation as something far more dangerous. A rogue asset, commanders deploy only when the situation becomes truly desperate.
Or truly immoral.
There’s a reason few warcasters are eager to discuss how the Mind Thief operates. The real horror isn’t simply what it does to enemy troops. It’s how efficiently it does it.
Thought becomes ammunition
The Mind Thief doesn’t wage war with brute force alone. It weaponises cognition itself.
Capable of storing power as Mind Tokens, the Mind Thief can unleash terrifying offensive spellcasting capable of tearing through entire enemy units in a single psychic assault. These tokens can be spent to boost attack and damage rolls or even fuel additional spell casts, turning every harvested thought into another devastating strike.
And harvesting those thoughts? That’s the unsettling part.
Mind Tokens are gained through attacking enemy models… or by destroying willing, or perhaps unwilling, friendly ones.
Efficient? Absolutely. Ethical? That question stopped mattering a long time ago.
Where the Mind Thief serves
Each faction has its own reasons for tolerating the Mind Thief’s presence, though “trust” may be too generous a word. At best, it remains a useful ally. At worst, it is an inevitable future problem.

MiniCrate: Ghost Shaper
