A new army box format for Cryx Necrofactorium
With the release of Dusk Fane of Nyrro, we introduced a new way to start and grow your Warmachine army with the new army boxes. Following a positive response from the community, we're now refreshing the Cryx Necrofactorium range with the new army box format.
A new way to start and grow your Cryx Necrofactorium army
Each army box contains a self-contained force of approximately 50 points that you can play straight out of the box. With three different army boxes available, you'll have multiple ways to start your collection, choose the models and playstyles that appeal to you, and combine boxes as you build towards a 100-point army.

These replace the Cryx Necrofactorium Core Expansion and Auxiliary Expansion.
The new Mechanithrall Swarm Warden, which was released last month, can also now be found in the Legions of the Dead and Lord of Damnation army boxes. And Legions of the Dead contains a brand new set of variant sculpt Mechanithralls, which will also be available to purchase separately on warmachine.gg or through your local warstore in the coming weeks.
Completing the range refresh, the new Boneyard Keeper 30-point Command set replaces the current Command Starter, providing a great way to start smaller and get to grips with Warmachine, and individual Malefactor heavy warjack and Raptor light warjack boxes with every available loadout included replace the Battlegroup Box.
The new Cryx Necrofactorium range is available to pre-order from today and releases on October 20.
What if I've already started a Cryx Necrofactorium army?
Don't worry, nothing is changing about the models themselves. All existing Cryx Necrofactorium models remain fully playable, with the new range simply redistributing those models into a new box format.
The current Command Starter, Battlegroup Box, Core Expansion, and Auxiliary Expansion are now being discontinued and will no longer be available once existing stocks are exhausted. You may still find them on retailer shelves whilst stocks last, so if you're partway through building your army using the current format, there may still be an opportunity to pick up the boxes you need.
