Who are the Gravediggers?
The 63rd Trencher Light Infantry Brigade, known as the Gravediggers, are Cygnar’s elite airborne combat unit — a hardened brigade of veterans deployed from Invader-class skyships to wherever the fighting is fiercest.
Whether it’s storming enemy strongholds or holding the line in no-man’s-land, the Gravediggers never wait for the right moment — they create it.
Structured into distinct battlefield branches, Gravedigger forces thrive on adaptability. The Commandos, in particular, are renowned for their expertise in surgical strikes, sabotage, and target elimination — and the Auxiliary Expansion offers a focused look at this deadly division in action.
Inside the Auxiliary Expansion
Colonel Allison Jakes – Veteran Commander, Battlefield Duelist
Decorated and battle-tested, Colonel Jakes is the highest-ranking warcaster in the 63rd Brigade. Having served in every major conflict of the past two decades, she commands with clear-headed intensity and a duelist’s precision. Every operation under her watch is planned to strike hard and end fast.
Gravedigger Commandos (Unit) – Sabotage. Speed. Shock tactics.
Operating behind enemy lines, these elite troops are trained to approach unseen, strike without warning, and disappear into smoke. Each squad wields carbines and trench knives, and carries anti-warjack rockets, flares, and grenades to ensure no target — armoured or otherwise — walks away.
Commando Officer (Command Attachment) – Coordinated chaos
Dropped in ahead of the main force, the Commando Officer is tasked with rallying scattered units and marking targets for elimination. A leader who thrives on mayhem, their ability to call mission objectives ensures your Commandos hit harder when it matters most.
Captain Argo Brock (Solo) – Armoured fury with a voice like thunder
A veteran trench buster and the Gravediggers’ most senior ogrun officer, Brock wields a chain gun and assault shield with brutal efficiency. Gruff but respected, he commands from the front — drawing fire, barking orders, and blasting through resistance like a walking battering ram.
Beaker (Character Heavy Warjack) – Unstoppable. Unstable. Unforgettable.
Beaker is a walking testament to trial-by-fire — a warjack rebuilt more times than anyone can count, and still charging headlong into the thick of it. Outfitted with a sonic cannon, pulse drill, and arc node, Beaker’s Valiant chassis houses not just experimental tech, but a combat cortex that thinks it’s invincible. Honestly? It might be right.
Raider (Light Warjack / Heavy Airdrop) – Clear the way
Designed for close-quarters fire support, the Raider is a rapid-deployment warjack equipped with a grenade cannon and combat saw. Airdropped directly into the fray, it excels at cutting down infantry and disrupting enemy lines.
