The largest and most fearsome of the creatures dwelling beneath ruined Eversael, Tyrant Nocturnys are apex predators that inspire terror even among the eldritch. Towering over vordaks and styrge abhorreths, these monstrous beasts stalk the vast caverns beneath the earth before taking to the skies in search of prey.

Despite their immense size, Tyrant Nocturnys are remarkably agile hunters. Their powerful limbs propel them through the caverns, while enormous wings carry them effortlessly through the air. From above, they wheel across the skies before plunging into a devastating dive, seizing their prey with terrifying speed.

Even the Fane of Nyrro struggles to control these creatures. Their immense wills resist the commands of all but the most powerful eldritch, who must use dark enchantments to dominate their spirits. Even then, their control is temporary. Once the enchantments fade, the Tyrant Nocturnys return to their feral nature, posing a threat to friend and foe alike.

Some bear strange ornaments left behind by the cult's previous attempts to subdue them, marking them as survivors of earlier encounters. Others remain entirely untouched, their origins and numbers a source of both wonder and dread. A terrifying force on the battlefield, the Tyrant Nocturnys bring the full might of the darkness beneath Eversael to bear.
