Description
Deep beneath ruined Eversael, the Fane of Nyrro's victims are discarded into vast pits where their remains are left to rot. In the darkness, maggots and worms feed on the dead, forming vast colonies that have quietly thrived beneath the eldritch domain. Every so often, one of these creatures survives long enough to grow into something far more monstrous.
Fed on the remains of slain styrge steeped in necromantic magic, these creatures swell into immense Carrion Gorgers, bloated horrors fuelled by unholy vitality. Their endless feeding transforms them into something entirely alien, driven by little more than a primitive, insatiable hunger.
Even the most powerful eldritch cannot truly command a Carrion Gorger. Lacking a spirit to break or subjugate, these creatures cannot be trained or controlled. Instead, they are unleashed upon the Fane of Nyrro's enemies, where their overwhelming appetite makes them a terrifying force to face.
