The doctor is in — Dr Arkadius
There are scholars in the Iron Kingdoms who chase the mysteries of life. Then there’s Dr Arkadius, who straps those mysteries to a table and "improves" them.
Shunned by academics and expelled from more institutions than he cares to count, Arkadius took his genius east, away from “civilised” oversight. There, in a makeshift laboratory far from prying eyes, he found the perfect canvas: the farrow.
Now aligned with Emperor Carver, Arkadius has what every visionary needs: resources, subjects, and battlefield data.
Heavy support, Thornfall style — Gun boar, splatter boar, battle boar
Gun boar
A brute with a cannon strapped to its back is exactly what it sounds like. A mobile artillery platform that can punch holes through enemy lines, and if you get too close, you’ll discover it’s still a very large, very hungry hog underneath all that firepower.

Arkadius’s alchemical meddling takes things further. The Splatter Boar swaps solid shot for volatile mixtures: burning tar, corrosive waste, hallucinogenic fumes. Precision isn’t the point. Chaos is.
Even the ammunition is unpredictable. The gas mask? Equal parts safety precaution and status symbol.
Battle boar
And when subtlety truly isn’t required, the Battle Boar is ready to take charge.
Pumped full of strength-inducing serum via an alchemical tank mounted to its back, this brute becomes a muscle-bound frenzy on the battlefield. Solutions don't always have to be complicated — the quickest way to swing the battle in your favour is to beat it into submission with a very angry boar.
